I'm finally back in Cambridge! It's been a huge weekend and we've done a TON of traveling, but that means that I also have a TON of photos. Ready?
Lots of commuting:
Arrived in Edinburgh to discover our wonderful hostel:
On Saturday morning we woke up and did a tour called the Highland Experience:
On Saturday morning we woke up and did a tour called the Highland Experience:
Lunch in a pub by the Loch Ness.
We searched and we searched for Ole Nessie...
...but this is all we found!
Once we got back into the city after the Highlands tour, Roni and I went on a Terror Tour that taught us all about the witches and ghosts and spooky history of Edinburgh:
Sunday:
Pretty graveyard we found.
We went to the National Museum of Scotland. There was a rooftop terrace where we took tons of pretty pictures on the city:
Then we played around in the rest of the museum for a while:
This is Dolly--the first cloned sheep!
On the train ride home we passed some beautiful scenery:

Which courses are you in this week? Austen and...? :O I love cheese! One day I'll go to Scotland with Jordi (he's back!).
ReplyDeleteActually, last week was the final Jane Austen class. This week I'm in "Comedy in Shakespeare" and "Happiness in 18th Century Literature."
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that boy is back! You guys should totally go. It was GORGEOUS.
We TOTALLY missed you and Hanna today at dinner. :(
Oh, I'd like to be in Comedy in Shakespeare!!! I think you're incredible: I couldn't read aaaaaall the books for more than 2 weeks!! I don't know anythin about the second course, which authors are there? I envy your travels and your holidays in England and Scotland! Hopefully, next week I'm going to Italy with my parents, I'll tell you about it and I'll send you a postacard (if you didn't give me your adress send it to me by e-mail). Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI want to see your parents' pictures on Wednesday! They'll love Cambridge! If someone is wondering why I write so many comments you can tell them that I don't have facebook (I won't) and that I'm addict to the blogs (sorry!).
ReplyDeleteYeah, I definitely didn't even come close to reading all of the books for my four weeks here. But the Comedy in Shakespeare class is pretty awesome so far--Fred Parker teaches it. It's on Midsummer Night's Dream, Henry IV, King Lear, Hamlet, and some other plays that I can't quite remember.
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely post pictures of my parents when we get there. I'll probably keep posting on this blog all through my mini Europe vacation with my parents: Croatia, Sweden, Norway, London.
There will be many more photos to come.
I don't think I took down your email address, but mine is descobar@knights.ucf.edu and my home address is:
